Color Pop was born out of a burst of inspiration, a microwave popcorn brand where every bag is filled with brightly colored popped kernals. Taking inspiration from the pop art style, Color Pop uses halftones and circus-like stripes to pull the eye around its colorful packaging. Throughout the creation, one question was at the forefront: How can we build a brand that draws in customers and convinces them to take a chance on something bold?

From there, I took the sketches online and worked through some interations. It was there that inspiration struck in the form of duotones and thick outlines: pop art. Trying to stick with almost a comic book style, the name changed and the logo started to look more familiar.
