CoVER TO CoVER
The print issues of Jerk came out bimonthly, distributed for free around Syracuse's campus. For the 25–26 school year, each issue had a central theme that was featured on the opening spread. Five sections within the mag divided up the stories, with designs that differentiated opinion from fashion and arts.
Working between teams of writers, photographers, illustrators, and designers, Jerk has and will always be a labor of love, with passionate people behind every word, photo, drawing, and layout.

Beyond the print mag, Jerk works as a cross-functional publication, operating across social media, campus spaces, and a website. Above are some examples of this, including creating new outfits for our mascot, Stinky; designing merch inspired by Méliès‘ Le Voyage dans la Lune; and an animated intro for a new social media “Man on the Street” segment.
